Shapeshifter Profile

Nationality: American
Species: Shifter
Animal: Wolf
Family: Siblings; Troy and Rose. Grandma; Paula.
Position in School: Senior

Residence: West Knott
Soulmate: Eleve Newcastle

Personality: Most people call him "The Wall" because he's big boned and rather tall. Before Junior High he had a growth spurt and was getting facial hair before his sophomore year in high school. Back at Ashwood, people viewed him as a bully because they heard rumors about his temper. Now that he's at Aurora Heights, people don't even bother to learn his name and just call him "Ashwood" and try not to pick physical fights with him because he's so big. Vic is deeper than people would expect. He loves classic novels, sciences, and music. Not your average bully - Victor doesn't go out of his way to make peoples lives hell. He's more of a party guy who likes sports and things normal teenage guys like; video games, music, and girls.

Appearance: 6'3" and 260lbs with curly brown hair, sideburns, and facial hair. He's definitely not poster boy for Ashwood. He's a big boy and anyone who calls him 'fat' and not 'muscled' well discover the fashion art of wearing a bruise. He has muscles but he's also wide, thick, with extra weight that he really doesn't mind. He doesn't have fat hanging over his belt, so he likes his appearance just fine. He's got hairy arms, chest, and if he doesn't cut his hair often enough he ends up with a bad curly boy afro. He has to shave more than any other guys he knows and he often forgets to do so, thus making him look fairly older than he is.

Strengths: Victor is good at sports because of his build and strength, but he's even better at academics. He's smart. He doesn't openly admit to it but he has great grades and loves to read, write, and can play various instruments including the violin. He has a romantic soul but shields it with beer grunts and football poses and likes to keep it that way and is very good at keeping up with his appearance. With his shapeshifter ability he has amazing strength, which he uses to his advantage whenever possible if not just to show off.

Weaknesses: Victor has a temper that stems from his shapeshifter heritage. He's territorial and doesn't like authority. When he gets upset he acts less like a man and more like an animal with supernatural strength. His soft side is usually shoved aside for his 'appearance' and he has a hard time being himself. He hides behind being a bully and can't accept himself any other way, making him sort of lonely on the inside. Being the new guy at Aurora Heights - transferring over from their rival school - has given him a new perspective on life. He's trying not to be the "big bad wolf" bully that people expect, and more of the guy who gets good grades and pushes people out of his way when they try and start something with him. Anyway, he's new, and lonely.

History:
As a kid he was your typical bully because of his weight, he had emotional problems that resulted in physical violence and bad eating habits. As he got older, he grew, and started to work out once he hit puberty. He turned a lot of his flab into muscle, but couldn't escape being huge. He went into sports because his father wanted him to be strong, while his mother wanted him to exceed by book smarts. He was able to do both, but his father pressured him to ignore his studies so he could play sports. What he wants and what other people expect of him are two totally different things, so he just gives people what they want to see so he doesn't have to deal with who he really is.

In junior high he got into an argument with a teacher who was also a Shapeshifter. The argument was in front of other students, some not Night World, and to avoid the teacher letting his anger show his true nature Victor pulled his pants down. The teacher was fired that day, but the rumors started to fly. First it was he punched the teacher, then it was he punched him so hard into a coma, and then finally people were talking about how he killed him. During his sophomore year at Ashwood he took a girl on a date, got into a car accident, and punched through a tree in anger. She told everyone - and even though its the truth, most people exaggerate it and think she was crazy.

Not too long after his senior year his parents moved back to Aurora Heights to help out family. His cousin got into trouble by changing her boyfriend into a Werewolf. They were both found out by the Night World and have been missing for some time, presumed dead. The entire family uprooted at the last second due to 'Shame' and the 'Family Name' hoping to build a stronger family who doesn't screw up like that, all under the watchful eye of Grandma Paula --- the meanest oldest werewolf Victor's ever heard of.
