Personality: Toby is very sweet. and a little bit clueless and oblivious. Unlike most guys his age he hasn't really noticed girls, at least, not to an extent that he does anything about it. And he is quite overwhelmed with the attention he sometimes gets from female witches, being that he is one of the rare male witches. He can be quiet and studious, but his smile is bright and infectious and people like to make him smile and laugh. Toby is the type who slides under the radar. He is not a member of the popular crowd, but he has his friends and he is quite content. Toby has a tendency to let his thoughts wander, sometimes dazing out in the middle of something and returning with a wide eyed 'huh?'. He is an excellent friend, always there for the people he cares about, and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve.

Appearance: Toby looks all wide eyed and younger than he is. He is only five foot eight in height and it seems that he has stopped growing. His build is on the slender side, with some sinewy muscle that comes from running and playing soccer. He is lightly tanned, and has very very pale hair - the white blonde that most people grow out of. He did not. It is very soft and fine and often disheveled and sticking up in various places. His eyes are a gray-blue, rather like the ocean, and very open and wide. His smile is sweet, and sometimes shy. Toby's style of dress is casual, often jeans or other worn in pants and thin sweaters or t-shirts. He is not stylish but he never looks bad either. He just is. There is something very soft and rumpled about him. Toby's face is very expressive, sometimes too much so.

Strengths: Toby is very good at spellcrafting. He is good at writing out intricate and detailed spells and setting them to use, and he is good at stirring potions. Because of his sweet nature, Toby is good at diffusing tense situations - people tend not to want to upset him. He is a great soccer player, his smaller size making him very quick and agile and good at dodging other bodies.

Weaknesses: Toby cannot hide his emotions. They write all over his face and in his eyes. Because of this he cannot lie to save his life. Not that he wants to, most of the time. As a witch, he is essentially human, and thus vulnerable to things that other Nightworlders would not be. Toby is allergic to bee stings and carries an epi-pen with him at all times.

History: Toby was the third born child to a witch and her human husband. He was a surprise because he was a rare male witch. Toby was raised with his older sisters in a loving and caring home, all very well supported. His sisters doted on him, always playing with him and dressing him up and teaching him little things.

In school he did well - not top of the class but he got mostly Bs and As. He gathered a small group of good friends, and people he trusted. In the middle ground of the school he is neither popular or one that is picked on. He just is.
