Personality: Rafael is meek and subdued to the point of fading into the background. He isn’t one to lead but in times of duress he does what needs to be done. He will avoid all verbal and physical confrontations as it sends out too much aggressiveness and he just isn’t comfortable with that. Not much of a talker but when spoken to he is known for polite conversation. He is polite and he doesn’t like to offend others as he takes it as a personal failing. When it comes to adults he is respectful and turns up the submissiveness up a notch. If there is something he wishes not to discuss he will find something else to talk about or something else to do. Though the one thing that is strong is his capability for caring for friends or family.

Appearance: Like any Mexican he has acquired the medium skin, hair and eyes. His hair is medium short and straight styled in a manner of disarray. He is of average height with a lean runners build and strong legs. He does slouch a bit which may give him that downtrodden look about him but somehow it doesn’t hide his beautiful facial features. Rafael is one of those pretty boys. Most of his clothing are second hand, well worn and usually last season twice over. Yet somehow he manages to stay in the same style wearing graphic or colored t-shirts matched up with tattered jeans.

Strengths: Extremely adaptable and resilient when it comes to life. No matter how much stuff comes at him it seems that he is always standing. When it comes to stressful situations he does what needs to be done in order to survive and will try to help as many people as possible. Is a great soccer player and if were up to him than he would devote his entire life to the sport.

Weaknesses: Because his family is lower class there isn’t much food on the table so he may look a little thin. All his earnings go to support his family and even if he has something it always goes to his younger brothers who in his eyes needs things more than he does and because of this he may over extend himself past his limits. He takes thing to heart which may account for his cautiousness towards others. As for exuding confidence this just isn’t in him. He is human so he possesses all the weaknesses normal humans have.

History: Rafael was born as the oldest of four boys to a young couple in the heart of Mexico City. Life for the family was a struggle and it didn’t take long for Ivandro and Alita to realize Mexico City wasn’t providing enough opportunities to raise four boys. It was when Rafael was 13 that the Valdez’s immigrated to States hoping to find something that will keep them just above the surface. The family moved a lot starting off from Los Angeles ending off moving across the States to New York City and finally ending in a more quieter part of America in Aurora. Rafael’s grades are high but his parents just didn’t have enough money to send him off to Ashwood Academy. He has accepted just going to Aurora Heights besides Rafael believes that if anybody deserves to go to Ashwood it would be his younger brothers.
