Personality: Just like your typical teenage boy, Parker laid back, with a sarcastic wit and tongue about him. He longs for popularity, but his conscience is his downfall. He refuses to treat anyone with disrespect, no matter what the cost. He's smart, though he uses his intelligence to think up schemes rather than for his studies. Park is incredibly funny, always making jokes to lighten the mood. A good friend to have on your side, he's loyal even if you can't stand him sometimes. Park's stuck with a reputation he hates because of an incident during his freshman year of high school, but he is determined to find his way back into glory. He takes everything in stride, even incredibly embarassing moments that ruin his chances for social royalty. A big charmer, he's able to make friends easily and enthrall a crowd, though some can't get past his usual circle of friends. Sometimes he's afraid to take chances and make a move to take a stand, though it only takes a push or brilliant idea to urge him into action. Park always expresses his feelings, usually in the form of joking remarks about how he hates his life, or grand ideas about how to restore his glory.
Appearance: Unlike most "dorks", Parker is quite good-looking. He has golden hair, the very definition of beach blonde, that he keeps styled sort of long. His face is youthful, with cheeks that seem stuck in between cherub and Adonis. Parker's eyes are a gorgeous green, like the deep forest after a rainstorm. They're wide and expressive, and always alight with laughter. He has a pretty mouth, which almost never stops smiling. His smile comes complete with dimples, which make girls forget which circle he runs in. Not the tallest of the bunch, he stands at around 5'10", with a lean build. He's not exactly scrawny, but he won't be challenging anyone to an arm wrestling contest anytime soon. His skin is peaches and cream, known to turn a little golden during the summer months. Parker's dress style is basic. The normal jeans and shirts, nothing fancy or trendy. He'll dress up if the situation calls for it, but prefers not to.
Strengths: An all around nice guy, he's always willing to lend a helping hand. Very charming, he can smooth talk with the best of them, and easily enthrall others. Park has a great sense of humour, making people laugh alot and often. Helping the underdogs is not only a hobby of his, but also more like an obligation. Having him as a friend is a great asset. He is loyal, despite what he says, and would never betray a friend. Or someone in need for that matter. Incredibly smart, Park is constantly thinking of schemes to become popular. He possesses an intense determination, seeing something through to the end once he's decided to do it. His looks are also a help, as he's not unappealing as others cast in the "dork" role. So even if he's not a big man on campus, he does receive more attention than some of his circle.
Weaknesses: Years later, Parker has still been unable to forget the incident that first day of high school. He is a bit bitter about it, and obsesses over regaining his lost social status. Sometimes, he is too sarcastic, making fun of things that some people take seriously. A joker, he sometimes makes light of things that should be serious. He seems to lack the ability to actually be somber for even a second. Parker's conscience is also a big problem. He possesses a strong moral compus, and he is not able to ignore someone in need. Especially those that aren't exactly popular. Since the incident, he's kept company with some dorky people, which classifies him in the same category. Few know who he really is, and waits for the day he can get his best friends back. The fact that he lost them is like a deep wound, and he doesn't like to talk about it.
History: Born in Texas, Parker was the middle child to a fairly well off family. His parents weren't rich, but decidedly on the higher end of middle class. As the middle child, he was frequently overlooked, though his family was incredibly loving and close. As he grew, he was a likeable child. He made many friends, his charming and amusing nature drawing people to him like moths to a flame. Of course, like most children, he had two best friends. The three of them were extremely close, even dubbing themselves the Three Muskateers. Everything was perfect, even if he was constantly having to talk his parents out of punishing him for socializing rather than studying.
The summer before his freshman year, his father was transferred to Maine. Luckily, his friends' fathers were in the same business, so they all moved together. Having their support helped the transition, and the first day of school was to be a momentous occaision. Unfortunately, it turned into a disaster for Parker. It was after school, during sports tryouts. A boy, obviously low on the totem pole, was being bullied by a group of guys. Having a strong moral compus, Parker jumped in to save him, which earned him a spot in the action. The bullies ended up hanging the two by their underwear in front of the school, making them an object of ridicule. His friends stopped talking to him, and the rest of his days were spent in obscurity trying and failing to gain back his lost popularity. Though he's made new friends, Parker is still determined to regain the glory he once had.
