Personality: Jude is a very artistic, soulful sort of guy. The sort who sees beauty in strange places and who actually likes to read classic works and go to art galleries. Sometimes he seems off in his own little world when ideas swirl through his mind and he gets lost in them. He is much quieter than his twin and much more thoughtful. He has a passion for ideas and the expression of emotions in a variety of ways. Jude is smart and does quite well in school although he would rather walk his own path. He is sometimes hard to get to know, because he is not one of those who likes to talk about himself ad naseum. Jude is very observant and has a sly sense of humour.

Appearance: Like Luca, Jude was blessed with good looks that he doesn't seem to know what to do with. He is tall, standing in at six feet, with a lean, but strong build. He might not be terribly athletic, but he has the supple strength that comes with being a shapeshifter. He has dark brown hair with a bit of curl which is worn just long enough to look permanently messed up and disheveled. His eyes are brown as his smile is easy. Jude tends to wear whatever he finds, sometimes jeans, sometimes cords, often simple shirts and he has a black pea coat that he absolutely loves.

Strengths: Like all shapeshifters, Jude is very strong, fast and agile with a gift for movement. He is very artistic and creative. He draws and paints and he also plays the guitar and he does very well at all of these things. He has a knack for colour and an eye for design and patterns. He is very good at English and loves writing and reading.

Weaknesses: Like all shapeshifters, Jude is sensitive to silver. Little bits can burn and more would do great damage to him. Fire is another weakness to his kind, although not in small quantities. Jude is not very good at math and constantly struggles with it (although he does see the beauty in numbers - he just doesn't know what to do with them). He is a good student but sometimes his mind wanders and he'll find that he's spent the entire class drawing on his notepaper instead of listening.

History: Luca and Jude were born into the Delacroix family, the largest family of bobcat shapeshifters (and probably the largest family of feline shapeshifters). While much of their family lived in the New Orleans area, when the boys were small their parents moved, as their father got offered a job that he couldn't resist, and so they settled in Aurora Heights. A few years later their sister Ariadne was born

They were raised in a happy, balanced home. Jude was a quiet sort of child who always seemed to have his nose in a book or a pencil or crayon in hand. He loved to draw and paint and do anything artistic, and this love continued on. He was quite skilled in various media, and he also found a love of music, and took up playing the guitar.
