Personality: Joli is definitely an interesting girl. She's fairly quiet, a lot more timid than her cousin or most of the people she hangs out with. Make no mistake, though, this does not mean she is weak. Joli will stand up for what's right and her friends, even if it risks making her unpopular. She doesn't feel the need to hold the spotlight, as she prefers to lend a helping hand in the background. Extremely smart, she studies hard, and volunteers as a tutor to share her knowledge with others. Joli is very conflicted in many ways, as she's not entirely sure who she is sometimes and has a hard time staying true to herself. Music is her life, and she lives for it. Most girls make her angry, as they're too catty and full of gossip for her. She's generally calm and mellow, helping to diffuse situations rather than instigate them.
Appearance: Despite how she may try to hide it, Joli is a pretty girl. Her hair is long and the perfect mix of white gold with a hint of strawberry thrown in. It's long, flowing to the middle of her back, and naturally curls into waves or ringlets. Her face is delicate, heart-shaped, with defined cheeks and a subtle nose. Jo's eyes are her most striking feature, as they're wide, and a startling shade of aquamarine. She has full lips, and a very warm smile. Jo isn't tall, only around 5'2", with a slender figure she inherited from her mother. Her skin is fair, the lightest hint of peaches and cream, and completely unblemished. She dresses in her own style, which is decidedly unique and feminine without being too girly. She loves accesories, especially jewelry. Jo also has a music note tattooed on the inside of her right wrist, something her parents agreed to let her get.
Strengths: She is a good friend to have around in a scrape, as she's extremely loyal. A nice girl, she can be classified as a girl next door, definitely the type you'd like to take home to mother. Very smart, she excels in school, getting good grades and even helping her peers with their lessons. Jo has strong ideas about right and wrong, and while she may be a bit reserved, she will express them. She's a very laid-back girl, never causing any drama or turmoil if she can help it. Music is her passion, and she lives for it. She has lyric total recall, as well as an endless supply of trivia concerning bands and talent. Her mother gifted her with a wonderful voice, and she can play a couple instruments decently. Like her father, she enjoys some sports, mostly volleyball though.
Weaknesses: Joliet can be a bit too timid at times. She's conflicted when it comes to who she is, and sometimes lets people push her around. Drama is like an infectious disease to her, and she'd rather pretend like nothing's wrong than start an arguement. Jo doesn't like talking about herself, and mostly keeps things bottled up until they cause her to explode. She is sometimes uncertain around people, and they classify it as bitchy rather than awkwardness. Jo is smart and loves to teach people, but can often take on way too much. Music is her whole life, and she can often become so immersed in it or talk about it so much she drives away those close to her. She's a bit guarded when it comes to her heart, as she feels not everything is as fairytale as people make it out to be. When it comes to dating, she's severely picky, since she doesn't quite trust enough.
History: There's not much of interest to tell about Joliet's past. Her parents were a happy couple, completely in love after getting married during high school. Jo's mother was a teacher, her father a coach for an important college. They were successful, and spent as much time and money on their children as their lives deemed possible. As a girl, Jo often trailed behind her older brother, which bonded the siblings and instilled a love for some not so girlish activities in her brain. She was a bright child, excelling in school and not making any trouble for her parents.
She and her cousin, who was like a sister to her, spent almost every moment together. They played and caused mischief, but nothing major. When she was eight years old, the girls were set to be separated. That is until Joli, for the first time in her life, threw a fit. Her parents followed her Rosalie's, and the girls were sent to the same school. A fact that's worked for them ever since.
