Personality: Clary is quirky, perky and generally a bundle of energy and excitement. A girl with a flare for the dramatic. She has a hard time sitting still and is always fidgeting with things and picking things up and toying them without realizing it. She loves to laugh and have a good time. She likes gossip, as long as it is not of the malicious sort and loves to hear - or tell - a good story. Clary is a lot of dramatic gestures and flourishes with her hands, waving around as she laughs. She is the sort of girl who flits from group to group. She likes people who are real and interesting and unique and doesn't like the typical high school sheep, because there's no fun there.

Appearance: Clary has a very cute look to her. She is petite, five foot four with a slender build and only modest curves. She has a heart shaped face with large blue eyes that are often rimmed with dark liner to make them pop. Her hair is practically black, very glossy and very long with a thick fringe of bangs across her forehead. Her style of dress is all her own, very flash and funky. She doesn't follow all of the trends, but she always looks good. She mixes and matches new pieces with thrift store finds. Clary is not afraid to use colour and loves accessories.

Strengths: Clary is dramatic and fun. She is a budding actress and it shows. She has a real talent for it. Her memory is great and she can memorize lines and speeches effortlessly. She can do voices and accents very well, and seems to be able to fall into roles with ease. In terms of magic, Clary is a very good spell writer and she is very good at making charms and jewelry with magic in it. She can also create witch fire, although that is not something she often does.

Weaknesses: Clary has a hard time sitting still. She is always wanting to get up and wander around class and is constantly accidentally taking people's things - a pencil to nibble on, a cell phone to play with. She can be distracted easily. As is common with witches, iron bothers her, and she does not like to be around large quantities of it. Because of this, she prefers walking to driving or being in a vehicle.

History: Clary was born to a witch mother and a human father, as is often the case with witches. She was born a year after her brother, who was a surprise, because male witches were rare. But Clary wasn't loved any less because of this.

She was raised in Aurora Heights. Her parents were supportive and told her to follow her dreams and she did. Through a number of dreams. When she was little she wanted to be a caterpillar. After that she went through wanting to be a singer, a lawyer and finally settled on the theatre as her love and fell in with the drama club. Her mother was a Circle Twilight witch and Clary settled in well, although she has not officially chosen it, being only seventeen.
