Personality: Aedan is your average no-nonsense sort of guy that you feel as though you can tell anything. He's friendly and outgoing but without a typical teenage attitude, he understands you and wants to help you in any way he can. Being in a small town with a lot of Night Worlders who share different views gives him a sort of superhero complex. He likes to watch out for the humans and make sure no one is killing them. He also wants to help out in any way he can so a lot of people take advantage of his kindness. Most students know him as "Hero" because there are many stories of him helping people out under all sorts of (sometimes strange) circumstances. Aedan is also sort of a nature junkie and loves to be out doors. Going hiking, camping, or even just a nice walk around the park is his idea of a good time.

Appearance: If you were to ask any girl what they like about Aedan they'll tell you its his blue eyes. They aren't your typical shade of blue that can easily be adored but dismissed. They are an ocean colored dark cerulean and they seem to reflect everything you ever wanted to know. His eyes are also framed by very shapely eyebrows that are a few shades darker than his medium brown caramel colored hair, which again make his eyes more out there than normal. He shaves so sometimes he had a little facial hair or a five'o'clock shadow. He's very athletic and has a boyish smile that turns him from man to playful boy in a manner of seconds.

Strengths: Supernatural abilities that are far from human - he can jump off of a building much like a cat, land on his feet, and not be in pain. He's strong and has a better sense of hearing and sight than a human. Besides these typical Lamia abilities he's obviously a very strong, comforting, emotional and understanding guy. He's good and it shows in his cute smiles and happy laughs. He has a popular column in the school newspaper where students ask him questions like "Dear Abby", because he's very good with giving advice. One reason that he might be better at giving advice than your typical teenage boy is that he's a lamia vampire and can see into your thoughts via telepathy while he feeds. Although he'd never admit it and would like to think he's just very empathetic.

Weaknesses: His telepathy is very strong and sometimes he accidentally will mesmerize a human. He really hates when this happens and gets quiet and sometimes snippy. Likewise the only time you'll ever see him in a bad mood is when he isn't well fell on blood. Aedan is also always helping everyone else out with their problems - even strangers - and rarely gets to sit through his own emotional roller coasters. He'd rather throw them on the back burner and help someone else out than deal with it. He also has an obsessive fear of "Mummies", because when vampires die they shrivel up and he saw it once when he was a kid.

History:
Aedan and his brother Kelly grew up in Boston. Their parents were business people who moved too much for their children to get a proper education so they were raised by their Uncle. Not blood related as he was married to the boys mothers sister, but, family enough that he sought out to take care of them for a good amount of money. He was what the Night Worlders called the "Hippy" Redfern, cut off from his family for a couple generations because he liked, even loved, humans. So Aedan and his brother lived happily until their mother showed up and informed them that she had bought a house in Aurora, Maine. They packed up and moved for their Freshman year of high school and have spent the last years of their "human education" at the local high school.

On the very first day of attending Aurora Heights High a suicidal sophomore decided to end life by jumping off of the roof. A crowd had gathered before she could jump. Aedan took the opportunity to stop her before she could actually do so and ended up saving her life. A couple of months later he was on the news for catching a man who robbed old ladies. Since then he has always been called "Hero" or "Superman" and so on. Sometimes strangers come to him for help and he's more than glad to help them.
