Personality: Adam is a fairly easy going guy. He's a flexible best friend type, a sports enthusiast who's also a proud science geek. He loves comic books and Star Trek and could blabber on endlessly about astronomy and scientific research that could bore a normal person to tears. On the other hand, he can just as easily chatter about the Knicks or the Dodgers or whoever he's watching on TV at that moment. He has fairly high moral standards, a firm grasp of what's right and wrong. He's got a bit of a knight in shining armour complex about sticking up for people.

Appearance: Not conventionally handsome, more of the cute variety with bright green eyes and a wide smile that makes his face light up. His hair is an ordinary brown, cut short with bangs usually styled in spikes. He has a somewhat wide build, like a good sized line backer might. He's a spunky, witty t-shirts and ripped jeans guy with a complexion a little on the pale side, even for a human.

Strengths: Nice, easy to approach and get along with. Usually pretty flexible and ready to change his schedule to go along with his friends. Adam is quite smart and good with science subjects. He's also got a strong throwing arm and good aim. He's faster on his feet than people might give him credit for. Adam likes to think he has a good grasp of morality, and likes to think he can be counted on if people need help.

Weaknesses: A bit of a people pleaser, Adam is while smart, is prone to making stupid mistakes when he's not paying attention properly with his school work. He will be forever haunted by an accident in chemistry class that was a result of just this problem, resulting in him being kicked out of a prestigious private school and probably ruining his chances to ever work in the chemistry field. Adam is maybe a bit too nice and flexible in his attempts to get along with people, and his morals can be corrupted with the right words.

History: Adam's father and his best buddy from college formed a company that became famous for genetic research. He doesn't really know too much about it, but the story he got from his mother that the company was doing very well, and had been developing an extensive stem-cell research program. But Adam's father wasn't so sure about the moral implications of it. His best friend thought completely the opposite. It was a pioneering field and something that should definitely be explored. Mom explained that they had a big fight over it and his father left the company. He moved the family to Winthrop to work in a local hospital as a research scientist rather than continue in the stem cell field. Adam originally had the grades and reputation for Ashwood Academy. He was bright, well liked, a good athlete and even popular with the geeks. Until one day in a chemistry lab, he stayed late to do an extra assignment to impress his new girlfriend. Only he was too busy talking and flirting with her to notice that he reached for the wrong chemical. Causing a small explosion, which was quickly dealt with. Unfortunately, Adam was removed from the school, his family charged for the damage to the lab. His father had savings from investing in his former company originally meant to be college funds for Adam and his sister. However he had to use the money to cover the damage and move to Aurora Heights, where they permitted Adam to attend providing he did not take any chemistry courses.
